Malme - lepotan drugačiji od ostalih evropskih

Malmo - STORY

http://kraljevske-novine.rs/malme/

serbian version below

Stortorget Square - center

It is definitely worth visiting and disclosures. This city lies on the shores of the Strait of Oresund, and it exudes with peace and harmony, like an old acquaintance who freely welcomes newcomers, receives it to settle, and it carefully keeps the Swedes. Across the coast is the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, about 25km away… connected by Oresund bridge, the longest combined bridge in Europe.

Oresund bridge

It is a bit different from most European cities, but pretty decorated and full of greenery. It is the epitome of Swedish standards and planned made details. Everything is wrapped up with an order. Harmonious life with completely quiet streets, where they do not hear the siren. Sympathic green buses with no crowds, high speed metro and bicycles (that are unavoidable) make quite harmonious traffic. It has mild climate compared to other parts of Sweden.

Panorama

It is quite developed city and loved tourist destination
It is the end of April and beginning of May and we see the difference. The days are long but now last up to 21h in the evening. April, they say, was rainy and cold, and we arrived and caught the sun that Swedes are so fond of, but unfortunately, have little of it.

Traffic is pretty quiet

The Baltic is an old wolf, surrounded by cold and winds and it is almost impossible to swim even in the middle of July. Wind did not stop us, now in May, to enjoy the sunshine on the plateau near the sea. Coffee shop chain, known throughout Scandinavia attracted us with its offer of delicious coffee. Well known Espresso House, hides Chai late that I was delighted with the first sip. Cake with attached spices and accompanied by cream, is fitting perfectly with taste. Cappuccino, in a huge cup and milder taste than in Serbia, deserves a price of 4 euros.

Coffee, sweet coffee! :)

Structure and harmony! I could get used to living here easily
The only thing that would have ruined the idyll is the time. This decorated and beautiful country, unfortunately is not blessed with beautiful weather and sunny days, although it enjoys many other benefits. Out of 365 days a year, as they say, about 280 is without sun, which depends from year to year. The days are gray, weather is cold and the wind blows from the Baltic. Pretty depressing for us, sensitive to the cold. In rare sunny days, the Swedes come out into nature and the sea coast, enjoying. However, these people are quite used to cold. Who knows, maybe many of them don’t mind.
During our stay, we enjoyed the sunny days of Malmo and I admit - it was wonderful. Residents of the town rushed out wearing short and sitting in Parkview, soak up the sun. July and August are warmest with decent 25 and 26 degrees. In winter, the hard-working Swedes are going in warmer regions and islands. Why could they not when their standard and the amount of wages allow that!
Prices in restaurants are pretty high for the Serbian budget, so it is best to settle in the markets. Typical Swedish food, at least what we tried was delicious, and how could it not when our hostess made an effort to make our atmosphere in Malmo to be - at a fairly high level.

Our hostess welcomed us :)

Lund
We popped down to Lund, a town close to Malmö. There is also a student city. April 30 is celebrated as the day before the 1st May, so we had the opportunity to see many young people in one place, enjoying their time.

Lund

Swedes
The Swedes have rather fair complexion, hair and eyes. Women are extremely beautiful, natural blondes with bright blue eyes. Young people are quite independent and at the age of 19 leave the family environment. Organized state which give money to them, allows studies. The city, as well as the whole of Sweden is extremely expensive and is quite difficult to plan the visit unless you have someone to welcome you.

What need to be seen in Malmo:

1. Walk along the shore of the Baltic Sea, enjoying  the sun and end up on the bench in front of Espresso House
2. Visits Turining Torso building - the tallest building in Scandinavia, from which you can see the whole Malmo http://www.turningtorso.net/
3. Visit Espresso House, the famous coffee chain in Scandinavia and try the chai late with some of the pastries (cinnamon) http://www.espressohouse.com/hitta-oss/sverige/malmoe/
4. Visit Sky bar- where you can also see Malmo
5. Visit Lund campus, walk through the city and next to the University. Visit one of the cafes with good coffee and cakes - for example, "Ebbas Cafe"
6. Visit the center of Malmo - refer to the Stortorget Square, a favorite destination for tourists
7. Saturday taking the cocktails at Lilla torg. This is the center of entertainment and nightlife. Cocktails are great, for example in "TGI Fridays"
8. Use the benefits of the bridge leading to Copenhagen - Oresund Bridge https://www.oresundsbron.com/en/node/6738
9. Visit the church of Saint Peter (Sankt Petrikyrkan) Gothic church from the 14th century. This is the oldest building in Malmo.

Malme - lepotan drugačiji od ostalih evropskih

Trg Stortorget - centar

Panorama Malme-a

Uređenost i sklad!

Lund

Skoknuli smo i do Lunda, gradića u blizini Malmea.

Šta videti u Malmeu i u njegovoj okolini:

  1. Šetnja uz obalu Baltičkog mora, uz upijanje sunca na klupi ispred Espresso House –a;
  7. Subotnji izlazak na koktele na Lilla torg. Ovo je centar zabave i noćnog života. Kokteli su odlični, recimo u “TGI Fridays
  8. Iskoristiti blagodeti mosta koji vodi do Kopenhagena  - Oresundski most https://www.oresundsbron.com/en/node/6738
  9. Posetiti crkvu Svetog Petra (Sankt Petrikyrkan), gotičku crkvu iz 14.veka. Ovo je najstarija zgrada u Malemu.

1. Šetnja uz obalu mora

2. Turning Torso

3. Ništa bez kafe - "Espresso House"

5. Lund

KOH PANGAN an ISLAND

Serbian version below

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnCS25z18pI

Koh Phangan is an island on the eastern coast of Thailand. Literally, a paradise on earth. Hot air, with countless hours of sunshine in the middle of January is a pleasure for many of us. There are palm trees, everywhere, tiny little children and caring mothers carring them ... This island can’t stand monotone tours. There are researchers, travellers, adventurers, backpackers, nomads, trackers, here on Koh Phangan... because everybody, at some point, turn into lovers of captured moments.
Koh Phangan is an island of beauty of life, liberty, and letting time and space. Time spent here is worth every moment. Sweet lightness of being, agrees with the environment ... Researching the island's soil and beach is a pleasure itself. This is an active break from the monotonous millions in the cities where the senses are ruined and where a moment is lost under the impact of the sole on the concrete. Every moment is transformed into joy and we feel that we are in the right place, at the right time. Everything is easy and spontaneous... because here we are - truly alive ...

Secret beach and a wedding
5 February we are spending  at one of the most famous beaches in Koh Phangan, Secret Beach. This is part of the island with small, the smallest sand under my feet. In the middle of the beach there are poles with white lace beneath sheets, white flowers and lanterns. A wedding is obviously about to start.  We remain here, waiting for the start, like invitees. The wedding is scheduled for 17.30h. Gentle sunset makes the atmosphere romantic ... I wonder where this beautiful couple comes from. Soon we find out that they are from Serbia, Belgrade. They came on vacation and spontaneously decided to get married right here, on the beautiful Thai island. The girl is in a simple white dress with flowers in her hair, and the groom is in linen pants and a white shirt. The scene is like in a movie. Registrar pronounces words of the covenant while the atmosphere is completed with the hippie musician, playing on a strange string instrument. Its exotic music is exactly what this image needs.

Food and drink
I am going to Thong Sala, a capital of an island. It is located in the south-western side of the island and it is the main entrance to the island as a port. I ordered carrot juice and ginger for a change in a cafe. Not typical Thai drink, but it pleases to my senses. Every day I drink tropical fruit shakes ,so ginger cames as a good old friend. After that, I decided to go to the street market, a place of meeting, communication and street food. Locals like to talk and most newcomers are also here. Street food always looks like the best choice. I take chicken skewers, crispy and delicious. Also, spring rolls and chilli sauce, as a side order that complements the taste. Sympathetic villager looks at me with amazement. "Yes, I'll eat all of these!" – I answered.

Evening before going back
Last night before going back to Serbia, we spent at the beach. There's music playing at theis beach of Koh Phangan - tango, Cuban and another, which enthrall the atmosphere, while the feet immerse in the sand. What more could I ask for?

Peace
Peace, calm, charm, nirvana ... What is the perfect word that could describe the moment of walking on the surface of fine sand on the coast of one of Thailand's beaches we visited? The waves, like a giant, are recognized from the sound of ambient music, engulfing feet bit into their own footprints. Nirvana? Yes. Revival? Yes. The birth again and again? Anyhow, the first life arose precisely in the wave of the sea, in the sea foam...

OSTRVO KOH PANGAN

Tajnovita plaža i jedno venčanje

Motoristi
Zubato sunce, 7. februara, provlači se kroz oblake. Plima je uzburkala more.

Vozi me do glavnog grada Thong Sale simpatični Slovak, vozač kombija. Naprotiv, vratiće vam često i veći kusur.

Pijaca i hrana

Uzimam pileće ražnjiće, hrskave i ukusne. Simpatični meštanin me gleda u čudu.

Smiraj dana

POSEBAN DEO
Mir, smiraj, milina, nirvana... Nirvana? Može. Preporod? Može. Rađanje iznova i iznova?...

A short story about Copenhagen

Serbian version below

The Kingdom of Denmark kept a little paradise for itself - Copenhagen. This city was named for - one of the best for living, for several years. Parks and greenery are pleasantly arranged, and they are combined with the port that connects it with all neighboring countries. It is the ideal place, if nothing else - for a short rounds. One thing is for certain: This is one of those cities which I wanted to come back to.

The capital of Denmark is a city of pleasure, full of young smiling people and calm pensioners who sit in cafes near the main pedestrian street. Its name in Danish means - trading port.
Copenhagen is a city of cyclists. A large part of the population use this mean of transport ... and, as they say, truly enjoy it.
We have come across a new bridge, crossing from  "neighborhood" of Copenhagen, the city of Malmo. The bridge is one of the wonders of the modern era and it connects this two northern cities from 2005. Oresund Bridge, is the longest combined bridge-tunnel in the Europe. It was officially opened in 2006.

Falling in love with this city
Copenhagen is a city that I liked as soon as I stepped out of the train. It has its own story and soul arising from, primarily - the royal fairytale architecture and buildings that are reminiscent of scenes from the films based on the novel by Bronte Sisters. If you do not believe me, you can walk next to the castles Rosenborg, Amalienborg Palace Kristianborg I. They delight with their brilliance. The recognizable medieval architecture of these buildings, which have almost all European capitals, shows that kings used to lived here. Their residences were built of the highest quality materials, always with the intention to stand through the time, but also to amaze us. We are passing slowly, almost reverently past them.

Nyhavn
Finally we come to the famous harbor, recognized on the postcards - Nyhavn. The beauty of life emerges from this picture: Sailing, colorful narrow building, port, sunny day that we caught, which is not typical for this time of year. Young people are sitting on a wooden fence around the harbor, with their giant sandwiches and ice creams ... This picture reflects the life and invites us to enjoy! AND ENJOYMENT HAVE NEVER BEEN FOREIGN TO US. We easily fit into this cheerful ambience.

The statue of the Little Mermaid
It has been sitting and waiting for centuries. It was made by the brewer Carl Jacobsen, more than a hundred years ago. This sculpture is the most photographed in Copenhagen. Residents of Copenhagen are proud of it because it keeps the motive of Anderson's stories from oblivion and it continues to wait for her prince throught the time. As the legend says, the Little Mermaid sculpture will revive 300 years after its inception. Her tail will become legs, and she would walk to her beloved, while the symbol of the city, through this beautiful monument, once again will be - love.

10 things to see in Copenhagen:

1. Visit the square next to the harbor - Nyhavn (we were lucky and caught a hot and sunny day, unusual for this time of year)
2. Cruising the channel around the city in a small boat, with a lot of members of different nationalities. You will hear the story of Copenhagen and its history in 5 different languages, none of which is Serbian, but perhaps, at the end of the journey, you encounter the girl guides from our region and speak to her, as we did - in fluent Serbian.
3. Visit the Little Mermaid statue on the waterfront. It is designed by motive from Anderson's fairy tale and tirelessly, waiting for her prince.
4. Test ride bikes (all  cycling trauls are modern made bicycle routes)
5. If time permits, visit the park Tivoli, one of the famous fun park with roller coasters
6. Walk through the streets of the city (every corner is amazing here). If you are interested, ask the locals about the history of the buildings. It is interesting to hear the history from their point of view).
7. Try the famous Danish pastries, soft and airy, brewed according to a special recipe taken from Austrian masters (This smell of cakes and you can feel from the bakery).
8. If you are  coffee lover, you have to try coffee and cappuccino, served in large cups, on a sunny day. It lovely fits with the taste of Danish pastries.
9. If you have enough time, visit the city of Malmo on the coast of Sweden, which is reached by combining the famous bridge from Copenhagen.

10. Engage in a conversation with the inhabitants of the city. One of the sellers of souvenirs in the old market, next to the old palace, kindly described the legacy of this historic square. There is also a famous fountain. We threw a coin into it and made a wish, just in case. J

KOPENHAGEN UKRATKO:

Kraljevina Danska čuva jedan poseban kutak – Kopenhagen.

"Hygge" - koncept

Kombinovani most Oresund

Prepoznatljiva srednjovekovna arhitektura ovih građevina, koju imaju gotovo sve evropske prestonice, pokazuje nekadašnji ukus kraljeva.

A uživanje nam nikada nije bilo strano.

Statua Male sirene
Ona sedi i čeka, kroz vekove.
